Description

Historical Project for Ceramics I.  If I can find the piece I was imitating, I'll post a link.  Otherwise, the original piece was from Japan around 1400 AD.  The shape and size are almost exact, but the main pattern was changed and the opposite side (shown in Seasonal Tea II) was done because there was image.

This teapot is made completely out of Terra Cotta clay.  Coils.  No wheel was used.  

This picture is the finished piece before it was fired.  It will be glazed and posted once it is completely finished.  (:
